“TABING KOTAN” NATURAL AND CULTURAL TRAIL

This booklet is a manual for enjoying a walk on “Tabing Kotan” natural and cultural trail near the Moken village of Surin Islands, Phang-nga Province.  The Moken use the forest trail for their daily foraging.  The trail starts at the interpretive hut and winds through the back of the village, leading through 18 interesting spots where you can learn about plants, wildlife, and Moken ethnobotany.   Apart from using this booklet as a manual, you can ask the Moken tour guide in the village to accompany you on the trail, and you will learn much more from walking the forest with the true native of the islands!
